Филологически факултет, катедра „Английска филология”. Доктор по научната специалност Литература на народите на Европа, Америка, Африка, Азия и Австралия (2008). Главен асистент от 2006 г. Родена през 1970 г. в гр. Пловдив. Завършила Английската гимназия в Пловдив, а след това специалност „Български език и английски език” в ПУ „Паисий Хилендарски” (1994). В Пловдивския университет постъпва през 1996 г. Преподава превод, лексика и писмени упражнения на студенти англицисти. Чете лекции и води упражнения по британска литература от периода на романтизма; предлага избираеми и факултативни курсове по проблемите на романтизма и модерността, литературните теории, културната рецепция и превода на култури. Специализирала в Глазгоуския университет (2001-2002 г.), откъдето получава степен MPhil. Стипендиант на Академичната програма на Отворено общество за преподаване (2004) и професионално развитие (2005). Поканена за участие в проекта „Рецепцията на британски автори в Европа” с изследвания за Байрон (2004) и Шели (2008). Член е на Съюза на учените в България, Българското дружество за британски изследвания, Британската асоциация за изучаване на романтизма и на международното Байроново общество и е представяла доклади на конференции в Ню Йорк, Грима, Киото, Месолонги, Ливърпул, Абъристуид, Монктън, Белфаст, Оксфорд, Дъблин, Париж, Лондон, Венеция, Сейнт Андрюс, Торино. Научните занимания на Витана Костадинова са предимно в областта на рецепционните процеси в литературата и културата.
