Irena RusevaIrena Ruseva Ruseva – a BA in ‘English and Bulgarian Studies’ and MA in ‘Translation and Intercultural Communication’. She receives her secondary education at ‘Acad Popov’, Plovdiv, with a certificate of vocational training in programming. Her scientific interests are in the field of: comparative linguistics, psycholinguistics, psychology and literary theory.

In 2006 she wins first place in the student Olympiad in morphology of the modern Bulgarian language. Participates in several national and international scientific forums: The tenth and eleventh national student readings in Veliko Turnovo (2006 and 2007); International conference of young scientists in Plovdiv (2007), National Conference for undergraduate and graduate students in Plovdiv (2006 and 2007). In 2006 she was awarded by the President of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov with a diploma of excellence. She also participates in the discussion with the President on ‘The Young People and the European Future of Bulgaria’ (Plovdiv, 2006).

As a member of the linguistic club ‘Prof. Boris Simeonov’ she  participates in the development of a multilingual glossary of linguistic terms and in the editorial board of collections of reports by the National Conference for undergraduate and graduate students (Plovdiv, 2006, 2007 and 2008) ‘Words: images and reflections’ and ‘Texts and readings’.
