1st Day

Morning session:
Opening. Some non-technical lectures may be about EU, FP7, IPv6 in Europe and etc.
Afternoon session:
Theoretical session:
Introduction to IPv6, IPv6 addressing architecture and IPv6 usage in BREN/Plovdiv.
Hands-on session:
How to enable IPv6 support on your Windows and Linux system. Native and via-tunnel usage of IPv6, worldwide ping and trace on IPv6


2nd Day

Morning session:
Theoretical session:
Multicast, Autoconfiguration – Stateless and Stateful, IPv6 in the DNS
Hands-on session:
Linux (server): Setup a linux server: Autoconfiguration and DNS
Windows (client): Autoconfiguration and DNS usage

Afternoon session:
Theoretical session:
Routing protocols. Intra-domain (OSPF, ISIS), and inter-domain (BGP) in IPv4/6 networks.

Hands-on session:
Cisco (and Linux) remote lab in Brussels/Sofia: configure and troubleshoot OSPF and BGP.

3th Day

Morning session:
Theoretical session:
Security, Monitoring and Applications

Hands-on session:
Network filtering (firewalls) with iptables-ipv6 (for both Linux and Cisco?). Monitoring (netmon.acad.bg) and some IPv6 applications

Afternoon session:
Discussion: How to deploy IPv6 at company network.
Questions and Answers.
Questionnaires.
